Swedish artist House of Wallenberg (aka Petter Wallenberg) has just released My House Is Your House, his first album for three years.
The album features collaborations with Angie Brown and Victoria Wilson James, and includes the single, 'I Believe' featuring Adeva.
Angie Brown is well known for collaborating with Bizarre Inc (on ‘I’m Gonna Get You’), as well as working with the likes of Grace Jones, Mark Morrison, The Rolling Stones, Kate Bush, Chaka Khan, Heaven 17, Neneh Cherry, Lisa Stansfield and Fat Boy Slim.
Petter Wallenberg said: “Me and Angie both share the love for classic house and its message of unity and love. All the EDM stars have hi-jacked house and we're taking it back!"
The album, ’My House is Your House’ is out now. The record challenges today’s testosterone-fuled and white-washed stadium EDM. Instead, it takes house music back to its original sound: queer, black and vocal-driven. Released on Petter’s independent label Mums Mums Records, ‘My House Is Your House’ is both a personal art project and advocacy. The album's first single ‘Love Yourself Test Yourself’ became the theme song for an international award-winning campaign which called for HIV awareness, and recent release ‘I Believe’ featured the house music legend Adeva.
