Welcome to a brand new feature on philmarriott.net called Boys On Film – a collaboration with my friend Raj Rudolph from EQ Music Blog.
Since working in radio, I’ve often touched on reviewing movies and TV shows, and more recently I have even featured my critiques on my YouTube channel with both Raj and my friend Polly Harvey – my LDN Vegans partner.
Raj and I regularly attend movie festivals such as the prestigious BFI London Film Festival and the LGBTQI season of films called BFI Flare, both being film festivals that we are equally enthusiastic about.
In our introduction video below, Raj and I both explain how we first met, and talk about how we both ended up working for each other at various DJ events.
A couple of weeks ago, Raj invited me to the UK Video Music Awards. During a discussion about our mutual passion for film and TV, we decided that we needed to collaborate on a fresh, new entertainment review film project. Thus, Boys On Film was born!
