Pet Sematary was first brought to the big screen back in 1989 when director Mary Lambert (who also directed many of Madonna’s early music videos) adapted Stephen King’s horror novel.
Fast forward to 2019 and the story is now updated for cinemas by directors Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer. The screenplay has been written by Jeff Buhler, from a screen story by Matt Greenberg. The film stars Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, and John Lithgow, and follows a family that discovers a mysterious graveyard in the woods behind their new home.
Raj Rudolph from Boys On Film caught the movie back in March when it premiered at South by Southwest festival and has given us his thoughts on a review video which you can watch below.
